A private key is a critical piece of information used to authorize outgoing transactions on the blockchain network. Whoever has the knowledge of this key can spend the associated funds. This is why there has been a growing emphasis around the ecosystem for storing your cryptocurrency within a hardware wallet. Owning your private keys and storing them in a hardware wallet gives the user much more power and control over their private keys.
Why connect your hardware wallet to Blank?
Some sites may have integration with Blank but not with Trezor or Ledger wallets yet. Connecting your wallet with Blank, allows you to interact with those sites now!
